Where is Switchback E-Bikes based?

We operate our shop in San Pedro, CA. And we ship across the United States.

What is the base price for one of your builds?

Our builds are completely custom, and can fall within a very wide range. However, for a basic electric bike conversion upgrade, this includes: custom battery, custom battery bag, custom tuned and modified motor, custom brakes. Prices start at $3,000. Do you offer custom kits?

The short answer is, no. Our company grew because we offered completely custom one-of-a-kind builds. With this custom premise kits were never really considered as part of our business model. For every build, needs range for each bike manufacturer, and there are considerations to take into account with each client so there isn’t a one-size-fits-all kit. The e-bike industry is growing and our customer needs are adapting, we do have future plans to offer a single kit for a particular SE Bike model, and we will keep you updated on availability.
